i just read that Jessica Zafra already saw "The Dark Knight" on it's premiere at IMAX in Mall of Asia (she raved about it). i'm sooo looking forward to watching it when it opens here in china. i don't care if i have to spend for an overnight stay in shanghai and even if movie tickets here are waaayy more expensive than in manila. i MUST see The Dark Knight.
* these are one of the downsides of not being in manila where we have an easy access (and a cheaper one at that) to things and events such as movie premieres. hay buhay!

this movie is fun, pero hindi mindless fun. i'm getting ready to watch it for the second time this weekend (because I think it warrants a second viewing... and maybe even a third) pero something tells me you'd still end up paying more over there hehe ;p

@ Michelle - buti ka pa. baka mauna pa ipalabas sa south africa yan kesa dito. i'm scouting na nga for clear downloads para mapanood ko na, then i'll watch it again sa cinema. more or less php500 ang ticket for a regular cinema viewing. walang manalo. are you still in taiwan? magkano dyan?
Baka nga mauna pa sa south africa kasi sila hindi kailangan ng subtitles haha! Sa pinas na ako, that's why I can afford to watch it several times. Sa Taiwan kasi kung regular ticket mga US$10, wala pang popcorn. Cheapest na yung US$7 kung member ka. Mahal talaga compared dito sa atin.

i have to warn you about the mummy. if you're a fan of the series, well, you might get disappointed. parang indiana 3 siya. parang pinilit yung story. ang daming mali. even the one holding the camera (in one scene) was shaking when dapat still lang yung shot.
mummy 3 if for dvd or downloads. batman for cinema talaga :) sana nanood na lang kami ng "a very special love" hehehe
ei, eugene. yeah, dinownload ko na yung the dark knight and i watched it last night. hindi na ko makatiis (i've always failed the marshmallow test naman eh) hahahha. pero we will catch it in shanghai. not this weekend though, may pasok ako and i have several deadlines to meet. baka next weekend na lang.
i'm not really into the mummy. napanood ko yung previous mummies pero, just like harry potter, eh for entertainment purposes lang. brendan fraser is one of my favorite actors though. gusto ko sya sa "with honors" and "school ties". mga 90s pa yun, so last season.
i liked him din sa with honors. i think that was the best movie he's ever done. after that puro action/adventure flicks na siya e. well, patatapos na din ang barrage of summer movies from the states, malapit na yung mga 'oscar'-worthy films.
anyway, have fun sa inyong shanghai-batman escapade :)
